What is APR?
APR stands for ‘Annual Percentage Rate’ – this shows how much money you would pay on a loan over the period of a year.
Whether a loan is designed to be paid back over one week or 3 years the APR still has to be displayed.
This is why some APR’s look extremely high, if the loan is only over a short period of time. It is a legal requirement for all companies to display their APR on adverts and websites.

£200 over 32 weeks at £10 per week rate of interest 60% (97.77% per annum fixed); representative 399.66% APR total amount payable £320
